Interpol Conduct First Physical Training Since Pandemic

Last week saw Focus Training engaged with Interpol in Kathmandu Nepal conducting their first physical training course since the pandemic.  Eight countries, all members of SAWEN, South Asia Wildlife Enforcement Network, engaged in a 5-day workshop in International Criminal Investigations conducted by Alan Blaney of Focus Training and Interpol agents.

The highlight for many involved a crime scene management exercise in the jungle of one of Nepal’s national parks, the scenario involved students recovering evidence from a mock poacher’s camp deep in the jungle, security was high as the area is inhabited by Leopard, Bear and Cobra.

The event was hailed as a great success by both Interpol, SAWEN and the delegates.
