About Focus Training |
Founded In 1997, Focus Training (UK) has grown steadily in both its client base and range of courses. Professionally qualified personnel deliver the training who are hand-picked for their knowledge of their chosen law enforcement discipline. Focus Training now delivers training in over eighty countries world wide. As well as providing a wide range of training, Focus also offers a discrete service for the examination of intelligence, enabling clients to better decide what decisions they should consider in complex fraud and corruption cases. This work has included allegations against press and governments and has also covered major terrorist cases. Many Focus courses are university-approved and can lead to academic qualifications. For example, we run an accredited counter-fraud officer training program in conjunction with the Universities of Portsmouth and Tees Side. These courses provide credits towards a Certificate of Higher Education in Counter-Fraud and Criminal Justice Studies and are recognized by the CFPAB (Counter-Fraud Professional Accreditation Board) as providing a route to the professional qualification of Accredited Counter-Fraud Officer. In the area of Mobile Phone Fraud Focus offers a comprehensive programme which provides a high quality, focused and structured training programme, tailored to the specific needs of GSM operators, to enable members to detect, manage and investigate fraud effectively. The programme recognises the diverse nature of telecommunications fraud, the international nature of the GSM Association and the differing levels of experience present amongst anti-fraud personnel.
